MCU「雷神索爾」男星克里斯漢斯沃日前宣布捐款一百萬美金協助澳洲政府撲滅野火，也希望此舉能夠拋磚引玉替相關單位募得更多的善款，好助澳洲政府能早日撲滅野火災情。

往年澳洲也會發生野火災情，不過程度都沒今年來得嚴重。截至目前為止，這場野火已經延燒了四個月之久，不僅造成20多人罹難，現在當局粗估受害的動物數量也約有5億隻之多，對於當地的自然環境可以說是造成難以估計的嚴酷影響。
