好萊塢女星凱莉普林斯頓、同時也是約翰屈伏塔的明星妻子，今日稍早驚傳在歷經約兩年時間的積極治療之後，還是不敵乳癌病魔，於美國當地時間星期日病逝，享年57歲。

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. All my love, JT

約翰屈伏塔在個人Instagram上公布這個令人震驚的不幸消息：「我必須很沉重地告訴大家，我美麗的妻子凱莉普林斯頓在與乳癌病魔對抗兩年之後，已經不幸過世了。她在許多的愛與支持下，打了一場勇敢的戰爭。」夫妻倆的演藝圈好友們隨即也在社群媒體上悼念普林斯頓。

身為好萊塢8、90年代的偶像女星，凱莉普林斯頓演出的大銀幕作品包括【龍兄鼠弟】、【惡夜追殺令】、【天使樂翻天】、【戰慄時刻】、【征服情海】、【為你瘋狂】以【天啊，我把傑克變雪人了】…等。

普林斯頓與屈伏塔相識於1987年，並在1991年於法國巴黎舉行浪漫婚禮。這對明星夫妻檔曾在【地球戰場】(2000)以及【Gotti】(2018)同框演出；兩人共育有3個小孩；其中，兒子傑特已於2009年意外過世，得年16歲。
