顯然是越寫越火的洛克完全沒有要息事寧人的想法，他接著說：「聽著，電影中才硬得起來的硬漢先生，你是我這輩子第一個說我是騙子的人，而且還是在報章媒體上這麼說。我告訴你，你這個滿腹牢騷的無賴，要是讓我遇上，我以我奶奶、我兄弟以及所有我的毛小孩向上帝發誓，我一定會百分百讓你難看到底。米基洛克，上帝是我的見證人。」

這樣嗆聲還不夠，氣到抓狂的洛克稍後又在自己的社群媒體上繼續補槍：「我接下來的幾個月就會前往紐約拍片了，所以堵到你絕對是早晚會發生的事。」不過，其實這並不是洛克第一次槓上勞勃狄尼洛了。

繼早年兩人合作【天使心】（1987）結下心結之後，洛克與狄尼洛兩人去年再次因為選角問題槓上了。這一次事端再起的導火線，則是洛克認為自己被狄尼洛排擠－就在去年秋天，洛克公開宣稱自己之所以無法演出【愛爾蘭人】，就是因為狄尼洛從中作梗。
