  • 出生於1976年，本名為 班尼迪克‧提摩西‧卡爾頓‧康柏拜區（Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch），為英國電影、電視及劇場多棲演員，畢業於倫敦音樂戲劇藝術學院， 2004年在BBC的電視電影【霍金】（Hawking, 2004）中飾演全身癱瘓、口不能言的諾貝爾物理學家史蒂芬霍金，精湛的演技立即引起注意。2010年開始播映的BBC影集「新世紀福爾摩斯」使他人氣扶搖直上，電影代表作品包括【闇黑無界：星際爭霸戰】（Star Trek Into Darkness）、【危機解密】、【自由之心】、【八月心風暴】、【奇異博士】，以及為【哈比人：荒谷惡龍】（The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, 2013）中的惡龍史矛革及死靈法師擔任幕後配音。2014年的【模仿遊戲】讓他入圍金球獎及奧斯卡最佳男主角獎項。

簡介

80年代最具爆炸力的性感偶像男星，中學時代是音樂高手，不但會玩多種樂器還會作曲。就讀麻省大學時開始接觸劇場表演，中途退學到倫敦擔任歌舞劇「火爆浪子，」的要角，其後留在當地劇團演出莎劇。1974年返回美國踏入影壇，五年後以【美國舞男】一片風靡不少女性，1982年的【軍官與紳士】更樹立他的帥哥形象。1990年的【麻雀變鳳凰】票房長紅，使他的知名度達到巔峰。他與超級模特兒辛蒂克勞馥的婚姻於1995年已宣告結束。不過近年來電影數量仍然保持相當一定且有穩定的票房成績。
