在經過數週的傳言和猜測後，漫威終於正式宣佈由新科影后布麗拉森接演【驚奇隊長】(暫譯)，電影預定在2019年上映，而且還可望在獨立電影上映前先客串登場！

　　在【不存在的房間】一片中，布麗拉森細膩且情感豐富地詮釋遭囚禁七年的年輕媽媽，不僅榮獲小金人的肯定，也讓她一舉打開知名度，而這次接演全球影迷熱切期待的【驚奇隊長】(暫譯)，蜂擁而至的龐大關注也讓她直呼「吃不消」。

　　除了粉絲們的支持外，「美國隊長」克里斯伊凡和漫威總裁凱文費吉也公開歡迎布麗加入漫威宇宙，克里斯伊凡表示他之前與拉森曾在【歪小子史考特】中合作過，拍胸脯向粉絲保證她絕對是「驚奇隊長」的最佳人選！
